Dacia practices mainly in the areas of wind energy development, real estate transactions, and contract drafting. She currently provides legal services to six Community Based Energy Development (C-BED) wind companies. Prior to starting her practice, she was a Judicial Law Clerk in the Fifth and Eighth judicial districts in Minnesota.
Originally from Estherville, Iowa, Dacia graduated from Buena Vista University in 2001. She interned in the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs in Washington, DC during her last semester of college. After graduation, she began working at the Association of Governing Boards (AGB), a nonprofit organization focused on the education of presidents and board members of organizations. While working for AGB, Dacia attended law school at American University in Washington, DC, where she received her Juris Doctorate degree in 2005.
Dacia is a member of the American Bar Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the State Bar of South Dakota, the Iowa Wind Energy Association, and Women of Wind Energy.
